1.AGM 4 March & 29 April 2011

You will remember that we have had our AGM on the 4 March and 29 April at The Sir Geatan Duval Hotel School of Mauritius where the following members were elected to run the Skal International Mauritius for the term 2011 – 2013.

2. LA BONNE CHUTE DINNER

Skal organized a dinner at la Bonne Chute restaurant at Tamarin on the 2 July 2011 and which was attended by our special guest Bernard de Villele, General Manager of the St Regis Hotel in Mauritius and his wife as well as Jean Joseph Permal, Editor in Chief of Maurice Tourism Info.

3.SKAL Dinner Atelier Dumont

On the 9 September 2011, Skal Mauritius organized at Atelier Dumont and invited a special guest, Mr. Tony Lee from Ecosis a specialist in smart sustainable solutions for the 21 century.

4.Function organized on 22 October, 2011 at Junction Café

Some friends and members went for Nature Walk at Yemen as from 1000hrs. The Joggers had a very fruitful walk through the nature and after a 2 hours of walk,members and Guests were convened for drinks and had a copious lunch which everybody enjoyed.

5. TOP RESA September 2011 & World Travel Market November 2011

Some Skalleagues attended the Tope Resa International Fair In Paris as well as the World Tarvel Market in London.

The Magazines Visit Mauritius and Visit Rodrigues were successfully distributed.

6. SKAL END OF THE YEAR PARTY

The End of the Year Function was held on Saturday 3rd December, 2011 at Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel.

At 1900hrs a cocktail drink was served on the balcony of the hotel and the dinner was in Le Sirius.

A three course dinner was served. President Christine gave a brief of functions held during the year promising to give full details of the year activities at the AGM scheduled for the coming year.

59 - members, partners, spouses and guests attended the function.

The food was excellent and during the dinner, the Trio organized by the hotel entertained the floor.
